Nathan Simpson brings more than 12 years of experience in education and school administration, along with 28 years of piano performance and instruction. He is a Certified Piano Technician through the Piano Technician Academy and holds both a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Education in Administration/Supervision from Indiana State University.
Nathan currently serves as the Head Band Director at Noblesville East Middle School in Noblesville, IN. Previously, he was the Music Curriculum Coordinator and Canvas Administrator for the Vigo County School Corporation and served as Director of Bands at Honey Creek Middle School. He is also an Event Coordinator for the Indiana Percussion Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Bandmasters Association.
In addition to his professional roles, Mr. Simpson is an active member of the Indiana Jazz Educators Association, Indiana Music Teachers Association (Piano), Indiana Music Educators Association, and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). His contributions to music education have been recognized with several honors, including the Excellence in Education Award, Golden Apple Award Finalist recognition, the Mary Fuller Day Award, the Earl and Hazel E. Travioli Memorial Scholarship Award, and the rank of Eagle Scout.
